in a world filled with sheep,
its easy to blend in
and laze around all day
out of place it would seem
to bleat loudly and therein
to tell them of another way

the crowd is rowsed
they are listening
some are calloused
some eyes glistening
some follow
some lie mellow

one remarks
on the marks i have
am i not just one of them?
one argues
on the hue and cry
am i not just one of them?

leadin them will be hard
handlin them will be rough
its not abt whether they're black or white
or whether they're wrong or right

emotions may rise
tempers may flare
some despise
some dun quite dare

its abt undsterstanding them
givin them a sandwich with ham
handling them on neutral basis
to avoid a clash or a terrible crisis

dun be personal
or of unsound mind
but get relational
and give them time

whether they're black or white
whether they were wrong or right
given time they will change
their hues will rearrange

sometimes do you wonder if the whole world knows exactly wad u're doin, wad u're thinkin, if the world was jus a sham and prop and ur life a sitcom to everyone else?
its like the truman show, where a guy is raised and lives in an artificial world until he discovers that his life and every action is broadcast to the rest of the real world.
well, wadever the case, i take comfort in knowing that there is an entity out there who knows wad i'm thinkin and doin and that i'm bein looked after. i think its all abt the awareness of that entity's reality in ur life.
